← Back to the comparator Ask about health insurance Tell me who needs cover and where they live, and I’ll price every plan BrokerFish can quote for them — the same live figures as the comparison board. I don’t need anything about anyone’s health.
Not sure where to start?
I'm 41, British, moving to Bangkok — what would cover cost? Family of four in Dubai, we want out-patient and dental included What's the difference between full medical underwriting and moratorium? Please don’t type anything about anyone’s health — it isn’t needed for a price, and the insurer’s own form is where those questions are asked.
About these answers BrokerFish is an independent insurance broker, not an insurer: Brokerfish Ltd, incorporated in Labuan, Malaysia under the Labuan Companies Act, 1990 (Company No.: LL06440), a licensed Labuan Insurance Broker under the Labuan Financial Services & Securities Act, 2010 (Licence No.: BS200863). Cover is written by the insurer named on each plan.
Each premium is computed from that insurer's current rate table for the details given. It is a quotation, not an offer of cover — the final premium and the terms are set by the insurer's underwriting once an application is made.
Nothing here binds cover. An application is completed by the client on BrokerFish's own application pages and read by a licensed adviser before it reaches the insurer.
Pricing uses date of birth, sex, country of residence, nationality and the cover options chosen — nothing else. The one health-related thing these tools accept is an optional answer to BrokerFish's own medical-history question, the same multiple-choice question the comparison site asks: it takes only one of a set of fixed answers, no description of any condition, and decides only which insurers are worth showing, pointing the client towards those more likely to accept that kind of history on BrokerFish's experience of placing it before. It is used for that and nothing else — not stored, not attached to any saved quote, and not passed to an insurer. No other health or medical information is accepted anywhere in these tools, and anything of the sort sent anyway is dropped and named back in the answer.
How we're paid: BrokerFish does not charge clients brokerage or service fees. You pay the insurer directly, and BrokerFish may receive commission from the insurer.
